The Carlow International Golf Classic takes place from the 2nd to 4th September and features 3 great parkland golf courses; Carlow, Bunclody and Mount Wolseley.  This event is open to both ladies & gents and golfers from all over the globe travel to play in this team of 4 event. There are cash prizes of up to €7,000 and a gala dinner is included along with 3 meal vouchers in the price of €219 per person. The West Coast Challenge is held from the 2nd to the 5th September and is held in Bundoran Golf Club, Donegal Golf Club (Murvagh Links), Enniscrone Golf Club and Strandhill Golf Club.  This is a 3 person team event playing singles stableford.  Each player plays on a different team with a draw done daily for teams.  For all enquiries email westcoastchallenge@hotmail.com

The Three Brothers Golf Tournament is a two day event over the 6th & 7th September held in Kenmare Golf Club.  Now it in 46th year, early booking is essential.  Players go out in 3 balls, playing with members from other teams.  The best 2 brothers score on each hole is counted.  Always a sell out with over 57 on average playing every year, email info@kenmaregolfclub.com for information and bookings.

The Disability and Inclusive Golf Association next event will take place in Stackstown on Sunday 8th September.  DIGA was originally known as the Disabled Irish Golf Association, founded by the late Trevor Hillen in 2019 who was dedicated to promoting golf as a sport for people with disabilities.  Following Trevor’s untimely passing and the Covid pandemic DIGA was revived in 2022 to continue Trevor’s work.  The committee renamed DIGA as the Disabled and Inclusive Golf Association to reflect its’ welcome to those with disabilities and those living with long-term health challenges.  There are no medical certificates required, and there are no classification criteria needed to play in DIGA outings.  Events bring beginners and experienced players together in a relaxed environment. Golf is truly a sport for all to enjoy.  DIGA looks forward to welcoming you to any of our events for a great game of golf in a patient, supportive and enjoyable environment.  Click here to book https://bit.ly/DIGAStackstown

The Amgen Irish Open will take place in the magnificent Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle, Co Down in Northern Ireland.  With Shane Lowry so far confirmed to play alongside other world leading golf professionals, they will be playing on one of Irelands top links course, this is a tournament not to be missed.  For more information and tickets go to https://www.europeantour.com/dpworld-tour/tickets-packages/

The Green Felts Events  September event takes place at Concra Wood Golf Club in County Monaghan on Saturday 14th September.  The timesheet is open to ladies & gents and runs from 11.30am to 2.30pm. More information and booking can be made at https://bit.ly/GreenFelts

The 13th Irish Golfer Event takes place on the links course of Seapoint in Co Louth on Sunday 15th August. This event is a singles stableford competition open to both Ladies & Gents. The Irish G4D Invitational will take place in Carton House from 23rd-25th September.  This Celebrity Pro Am is being organised by Brendan Lawlor, Ireland’s leading disability Pro golfer.  Alongside the celebrities will be 11 of the worlds best disability golfers.  Teams are being sold at €1000 per team.  Email brendan.lawlor1997@gmail.com or call him on 0862612425 for more information. 

The 14th Irish Golfer Event takes place on Powerscourt’s East Course located in Co Wicklow on Sunday 29th September.  This is the 2nd event held at this club.  This event is a singles stableford competition open to both Ladies & Gents.
