The Disability and Inclusive Golf Association next event will take place in Athlone GC on Sunday 18th August.  DIGA was originally known as the Disabled Irish Golf Association, founded by the late Trevor Hillen in 2019 who was dedicated to promoting golf as a sport for people with disabilities.  Following Trevor’s untimely passing and the Covid pandemic DIGA was revived in 2022 to continue Trevor’s work.  The committee renamed DIGA as the Disabled and Inclusive Golf Association to reflect its’ welcome to those with disabilities and those living with long-term health challenges.  There are no medical certificates required, and there are no classification criteria needed to play in DIGA outings.  Events bring beginners and experienced players together in a relaxed environment. Golf is truly a sport for all to enjoy.  DIGA looks forward to welcoming you to any of our events for a great game of golf in a patient, supportive and enjoyable environment.  Click here to book https://bit.ly/DIGAAthlone
