The 4th Irish Golfer Event takes place on the West Course at Powerscourt Golf Club on Sunday 2nd June.  Powerscourt is home to two championship golf courses and the West course is superb.  A real treat to get to play here at the weekends.  This singles competition is open to both Ladies & Gents and winners go on to a national final.  Great prizes are on offer on the day also. The Causeway Coast Amateur Golf Tournament takes place from 3rd June to 7th June.  Playing some of the best courses on the north coast of Ireland, they include Ballycastle Golf Club, Ballyliffin Golf Club, Castlerock Golf Club and the North West Golf Club.  This is a male only event and it is a singles competition and players must have an official handicap.  There is an overall competition and also daily competitions with trophies and prizes on offer.   Players must be 18 years or older and handicap index of 24 or less.

The Rosapenna Coast Links Team Championship is held from the 6th to the 8th June and is played over the 3 courses at Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort; Old Tom Morris Links, Sandy Hill Links and St Patrick’s Links.  This is a foursomes competition for ladies & gents with a handicap of 18 or less.  Always a sell out event, booking early is advisable and is open to ladies & gents.   Booking details can be found at https://bit.ly/RosapennaCoastLinksTeam

The Disability and Inclusive Golf Association next event will take place in Bushfoot Golf Club in Co Antrim on Sunday 16th June. DIGA was originally known as the Disabled Irish Golf Association, founded by the late Trevor Hillen in 2019 who was dedicated to promoting golf as a sport for people with disabilities.  Following Trevor’s untimely passing and the Covid pandemic DIGA was revived in 2022 to continue Trevor’s work.  The committee renamed DIGA as the Disabled and Inclusive Golf Association to reflect its’ welcome to those with disabilities and those living with long-term health challenges.  There are no medical certificates required, and there are no classification criteria needed to play in DIGA outings.  Events bring beginners and experienced players together in a relaxed environment. Golf is truly a sport for all to enjoy.  DIGA looks forward to welcoming you to any of our events for a great game of golf in a patient, supportive and enjoyable environment.  Click here to book https://bit.ly/DiGABushfoot

The 6th Irish Golfer Event takes place in Lough Erne in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland on Friday 21st June. These popular events are singles stableford and both Ladies and Gents are eligible to enter.  Lough Erne is designed by Nick Faldo and can be a very challenging course.  Early booking is recommended.  For bookings go to  https://bit.ly/IrishGolferEvents

The OFX Legends Tour makes its way to Seapoint Golf Links from 19th to 22nd June.  Situated in Co Louth, this tournament is one of few tournaments that amateurs can play alongside some real golfing legends.  The tour was originally called the European Senior Tour and is the official tour for professional golfers over 50 years old.    For more details and to purchase tickets visit https://bit.ly/OFXIrishLegends

The Amateur Championship will take place in Ballyliffin in Donegal from the 17th to 22nd June.  This is one of the most prestigious events for the amateur male golfers.  Previous winners have included Jose Maria Olazabal, Bobby Jones and Sergio Garcia.  This is a must visit for all golfers. The Matches at Machrihanish, Scotland will take place playing Machrihanish GC, Machrihanish Dunes & Dunaverty GC.  Join them for two nights and three rounds from 24th to 26th June, staying in the Cottages at the Ugadale Hotel in Machrihanish. They have eight spots available and included is B&B based on twin sharing (We will partner folk up) and 3 rounds of golf. The Women’s Amateur Championship will take place in Portmarnock Golf Club from the 24th to 29th June.  This is one of the most prestigious events for the amateur female golfers.  Previous winners have included Leona Maguire and Georgia Hall.  This is a must visit for all golfers. The 5th Irish Golfer Event takes place at Bunclody Golf Club located in Co Wexford on 16th June.
